The Franklin County Board of Education is proud to announce that Dr. Roger D. Alsup has been named our next Director of Schools, effective July 1, 2026! Dr. Alsup is a familiar face to many of us, currently serving as our Deputy Director. He previously served as Principal of Franklin County High School, where he was named the 2021 Principal of the Year and led the school to a Level 5 TVAAS growth rating. "I am truly honored to step into the role of Director of Schools for Franklin County," said Dr. Alsup.
